Cyclists Abroad (1956)
15 minutes - Colour

A still from the 1960 BTF Catalogue.

A party of cyclists set out from Victoria Station for a tour of Austria. On the boat-train their bycycles are carried in a specially equipped van to Folkestone and transferred to racks for the Channel crossing. From Calais the party go by train to Buchs, where they start their tour, climbing the magnificent mountains and running down the lovely valleys of the land of Haydn, Mozart and Schubert. They pause by the wayside to enjoy the sights and sounds of a strange country and to eat heartily of Austria's good food.
