South Wales Ports (1963)
20 minutes - Colour

Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Port Talbot and Swansea are the largest group of enclosed docks in the country. Originally built to handle coal exports, changing patterns of trade have now meant reorganisation and development and the film shows how British Transport Docks have responded to the new demands made by the steel and oil industries, as well as the need to cater for general cargoes.
