Port Of Hull (1963)
30 minutes - Colour

For a thousand years Hull has been a seaport, and the men of Hull have been concerned with the handling of cargoes - the movement of ships; but modernisation brings changes and today seven thousand vessels use the port every year, vessels from Scandinavia, the Baltic, Germany and Holland, each with a different type of cargo, demanding different services. The film shows how Hull operates as an international port as well as a centre of the fishing industry.
