Rail (1967)
14 minutes - Colour

A symphony in two movements to commemorate the age of steam and celebrate the age of electricity that has succeeded it. Cathedral-like stations, a white plume passing along a distant viaduct; images which have given way to the power-bearing cable, the Inter-City express, the steel, glass and gay colours of the seventies. Made in association with Geoffrey Jones (Films) Ltd. Music specially composed by Wilfred Josephs. An international award-winning film.
