A film, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the world's first public passenger steam railway, which is in the form of a chronology of railway history from September 27th, 1825, to the present day. It features over 400 separate images, culled from many sources, woven together with a forceful musical score combining traditional instrumental and compositional techniques with the latest developments in electronic synthesis and recording practice.
