Woodland Harvest (1977)
Produced by British Transport Films on behalf of the Forrestry Commision
26minutes - Colour

The forest is one of our few naturally renewable resources. Just as the farmer sows, cultivates and reaps his crop so the forester does the same for the benefit of everyone, for his prime concern is to produce a continual harvest.
This film illustrates the varied activities that go into the propagation and management of our forests and helps us to understand the natural pattern of the forest which produces our ever changing landscape.
As well as supplying timber for industry and for building, the forest gives protection to wildlife, lends beauty to the countryside and provides a natural setting for our leisure and creation.
Man, technology and the trees themselves forming a partnership.
