Co-produced with Movietone and made for the Central Office of Information (therefore Crown Copyright exists in the film), this is the official record of the project that was abandoned for financial reasons in January 1975, featuring extensive technical footage. Narrated by Len Martin, best-known for reading the Grandstand football results from 1958 to 1995, but also a voiceover artist heard on Movietone newsreels.
