43) Here, on her trials off Holyhead, is the motor vessel Hibernia, one of the ships in which passengers by the Irish Mail from Euston to Holyhead travel to complete their journey to Dublin. She’s a ship of over 5,000 tons, and has accommodation for 2,000 passengers. She and her sister ship Cambria are among Britain’s largest cross-Channel vessels. Hibernia, of course, is the ancient name for Ireland, and Cambria that for Wales.
