Following changes in the last Budget, the Society is now able to reclaim basic rate tax on subscriptions (currently £2.50 for every £10 subscription).  This could amount to a substantial sum for the Friends 

We would therefore ask you to sign the Gift Aid Declaration as set out below and return it to the Membership Secretary as soon as possible.  A Declaration of this kind replaces the covenant as the means by which a charity can reclaim tax.

You do not pay any more than your subscription but the Friends can reclaim the tax specified above.
